Thank you for the call Teresia! I wanted to share the gem I received from the call that has made a world of difference. The gem for me is the clarity I gained around means and ends values-a key distinction. You can read more about this in Teresia's blog but I realized that family and MOMentum are avenues (means value) for me to experience "connection" (ends value), the "experience" that truly fulfills me. When I sit down to plan for next year, I will now look for ways I can include activities that take "connection" into account. In MOMentum, I will look to collaborate more in my planning. Collaboration equals connection to me! In my family, I will make an effort to plan a few trips. We went to Boston this year as a family and I felt rejuvenated. I now realize that it was the connection I felt with Kevin and the girls as we explored a new place together that gave me the boost! Perhaps "adventure" is one of my top values...will have to explore this further!
Thank you for allowing me to feel "connection"!
