Ditch the New Years Resolutions and Set Goals That Inspire Your Soul!
“When our life is oriented around our true values, that is when we live a life of ease, passion and fulfillment”
~ Teresia LaRocque, MCC
Happy New Year! Now that we are on the tail end of a holiday season and welcoming in a New Year I bet many of you are thinking of New Year resolutions or wanting to do some goals setting for 2010.
I wanted to write this quick posting so that you have access to the resource below to support you in making 2010 your best year yet!
But wait before you start thinking about creating what you want in 2010 – I want to check in and ask did you take time to reflect and celebrate 2009? So many of us rush onto what is next and don’t take the time to acknowledge and reflect on our precious life experiences. If you have not taken this time – stop right now and read my article Reflect Back and Celebrate Your Year on my blog and give yourself the gift of creating a strong foundation for 2010.
Ok if you have done that and are ready to begin creating what you REALLY want in 2010 I have the perfect self-coaching guide (if I have to say so myself
) to assist you in creating a blueprint for a rewarding 2010!.
So many people start the New Year with a heart full of good intentions and a list full of resolutions, but the sad truth is that fewer than half of those resolutions will ever be met. Why is that? Over the past 14 years, my work as a life and business coach has given me a front-row seat to watch the ways that people set goals and respond to them, and how they create lasting results in their lives. In the process, I stumbled onto an interesting insight: most people set uninspiring goals and spend more time struggling through life than truly enjoying it. Can you relate?
This year decide to have a different experience.
Have you ever achieved a goal and not felt fulfilled?
Have you ever set goals only to forget about them?
Have you ever questioned why you do what you do for a living?
Do you wish you had more passion in your life?
Have you ever thought that a love for life is only for other people?
What I want for you in 2010 is to generate results in the easiest, most engaging way.
I encourage you to ditch the New Years Resolutions and traditional goal setting techniques and take the time to set valued based goals!
For those of you who have been long term subscribers of our community or have worked with me as your coach in the past, there’s a good chance that you have heard me shamelessly promote the process of taking the time to discover your true values. It’s this process of setting goals that I find to be the most effective way for living a life you love.
I’ve taken what I have learned from my personal commitment to living my best life and coaching hundreds of people over the last 14 years and authored a self-coaching Ebook ‘A New Approach to Goal Setting’. Click here for more information.
This is a self-coaching e-book that helps you identify what’s most important to you, and teaches you how to design your life according to your values. It just might be the fastest, easiest way to boost your life to a whole new level, and it will certainly give you a fresh new perspective on your New Year’s Resolutions!
I highly encourage you to give yourself the gift this season of this personal self discovery process. For a discounted rate of $19.97 (regular price $29.00) you can literally transform how you live your life! (I have discounted the rate in hopes this will help you decide to give yourself this gift of working through this life changing process.)
Block out some uninterrupted time this month and work through A New Approach to Goal Setting ebook and set a foundation for a successful and rewarding 2010!

Hi Teresia,
You have hit the nail on the head . Here is my live example of what you are talking about. I have had it on my dream board for a couple of years to go snorkelling again and to go to the jungle. Recently I have become single again and one of my greatest hearts desires is to meet a man who’s heart is really open.
I have just come back from a holiday in Belize. Not only did I go snorkelling, I obtained my open water scuba diving certification in 3 days. Way better than I could have imagined. I went on an eco-adventure trip and spent 3 days white water kayaking and camping in the jungle.
In looking at my pictures, I realized that I had met not 1 heart open man, but 5 heart open men who I shared stories with and explored the differences in our cultures.
Because of my intention and my vision I had the best trip that I have ever had. I had a smile on my face for 2 weeks straight. Life is way better when we know what we value, what we want and who we want to be when we are doing it.
Love and Hugs,
Jacque Small
